Staff Rank Descriptions
Note: All Staff Members have Chat Mod and Rollback Rights. Any Staff you see in chat will be a Chat Moderator.
Senior Administrator — Max: One
The Senior Admin is the currently active Bureaucrat. Right now, that is Ursuul. Senior Admins have full power & lead the Wiki.
Junior Administrators — Max: Two
Junior Administrators are just that; Administrators. They are system operators who can block people, edit MediaWiki Pages, give other individuals Chat Moderator & Discussion Moderator rights, rescind said rights, & exercise the power of all other User-Groups besides Bureaucrats. The only things they cannot do is affect the user-rights of Rollbacks, Content Moderators, Bureaucrats, or other Administrators. You can tell an Administrator apart from other Staff because their Staff Tag is blue.
Senior Moderators
Senior Moderators are trusted users who have been granted Content Moderator Rights. Content Moderator Rights allow a user to protect, unprotect, delete, & undelete pages, as well as move & edit already protected pages. Senior Moderators are almost always Discussion Moderators as well, but there may be exceptions in the future. Generally speaking, Senior Moderators have all available user-rights besides Admin & Bureaucrat, which allows them to exert a great deal of control over the Wiki. They are the next best thing if an Admin isn’t around, & you can tell a Senior Moderator apart from the rest of Staff because their Staff Tag is maroon.
Junior Moderators
Junior Moderators are trusted users who have been granted Discussion Moderator Rights. Discussion Moderator Rights allow a user to highlight forum threads, remove message wall & forum posts, as well as close & reopen threads on message walls & forums. You can tell a Junior Moderator apart from the rest of Staff because their Staff Tag is green.
Sentinels
This is the base level of Staff; either for those at the entry-level or as punishment for current Staff. All Sentinels automatically have Chat Moderator & Rollback rights by default, but may move up and acquire more over time. You can tell a Sentinel apart from the rest of Staff because their Staff Tag is yellow.
Interns — Max: Five
Interns are users with temporary User-Rights. They may have Chat Mod rights, rollback rights, and/or Discussion Mod Rights. For more info on Interns, click here.
