A number is a proposal, a bullet is a caveat / condition on the proposal (thanks to Sandbox attendees & to those who gave feedback on the Diep.io Wiki Discord / Slack for coming up with these compromises). Kudo vote like normal.
- New Image Galleries will be enabled.
- After one month, if a large number of users are dissatisfied with the new Galleries or if technical issues arise, we may vote again to either turn them back off or keep them permanently.
- Anonymous Editing will be enabled.
- For the duration of one month, Senior Administrators will have the right to disable it without consulting the Community if we deem that it is causing extensive issues (i.e. surge in vandalism, et cetera).
- After said month, if a large number of users have concerns, we may vote again to either turn it back off or keep it enabled permanently. Assuming it wasn’t already disabled by Admins of course.
- Article Comments (not blog comments) will be disabled.
- NOTE: Before you immediately vote, please take a moment to read through the FAQs — this change is a real biggun, so please dismiss any preconceptions and study the pros, cons, and key info carefully.
- Once done, they will remain disabled for one month. During that time, bots will clear away the now archived comments to provide a “fresh start” in the event of Article Comments being re-enabled, after which point bots will also establish talk pages for all articles as a supplement (but not a replacement) to the disabled comments.
- New Boards in the Forum, or Categories in Discussions, may be made to accommodate the redirected traffic as true replacements to comments.
- Modules advertising Discussions or Forum may be added to the right rail (it’s already on the Main Page & Discussions would be seen where Comments used to be).
- After one month, we may consider restoring them if there is both a large demand for their return & at least three Staff Moderators (or above) willing to patrol them heavily.
