We are trying to find out what the best way of identifying Staff is for normal users. Currently we use random colors, but we are moving toward a more standardized color code that will be easily recognizable by anyone, so everyone can know who the Mods are. To find out what normal users like best, I intend to break down the standardization options into three referendums. Part 1 is this thread, & it’s about what colors should be applied to each group of moderators. It should be fairly straightforward.
Vote
There are several options you can choose. I will post four replies you can kudo in order to vote, but full comments are appreciated.
First Vote — News Team
- Option One — Keep News Team colors separate.
- Option Two — Remove News Team colors.
Second Vote — Staff
- Option One — Have three groups that each share colors:
- All Admins; this includes Junior Admins & Senior Admins (aka active Bureaucrats)
- All Moderators; this includes Senior Moderators (Content Mods), Junior Moderators (Disc Mods), & Sentinels (Chat Mod+Rollback)
- All Interns
- Option Two — Have each & every rank be its own group with its own color. Meaning:
- Senior Admins get a unique color.
- Junior Admins get a unique color.
- Senior Moderators get a unique color.
- Junior Moderators get a unique color.
- Sentinels get a unique color.
- Interns get a unique color.
