It’s been a very active week, with a quiet finish. I & many others are on vacation this week, so expect more calm times to follow. Without further ado, let us get into the news shall we?
Wiki Event News
Tank Building Contest
Captain Hayden and Banarama are hosting a third tank building contest. They have been inspired by the Spanish Diep.io Wiki because of their triumphant tourney, and so they’ve been hard at work making sure it goes well. Be sure to check it out and consider participating!
Sandbox
The next Sandbox will not be Easter weekend; it will instead be on Saturday, April 22nd, from 4 PM EST to 5 PM EST. That Sandbox will be a special one, wherein all participants are invited to help us clean out useless Chat Emoticons by voting on them. Be sure to show up!
Easter Egg Hunt
The Hunt, while it suffered a rocky start, was an overwhelming success. Dozens played our little celebratory game, and several defeated the riddles to win their prizes. Many thanks to Count of Howard for writing the script that made it all possible, and also to Nobellion and Ursuul for coming up with the idea and implementing the installation respectively, in addition to writing the riddles together.

Video Policy Changes
Images remain unrestricted, but videos have been cleaned up with the help of Özün Oldun. Because videos appear in the “Videos” section of the Mobile Main Page, our Wiki was previously displaying high quality videos such as “These biscuits vine ORIGINAL” and “Sonic X - Theme Song” on the Main Page for all Mobile users to see. Naturally those will not do, and so all videos will be curated to ensure that only videos related to the content will show. Videos may now only be uploaded if they are both used on articles and pertinent to the surrounding content in which they are placed. All other videos, when found, will be deleted without warning or notice.
Style Guide Update
The Style Guide, while still not quite complete, has received a notable update with the addition of general format policies, concerning topics like Image Guidelines, Videos, Point of View, and the like. Check it out to learn more about editing articles!
Weekly Updates Changes
In order to decrease workload and to strip Weekly Updates down to only the most important news, several changes are being made to the way Weekly Updates are formatted. As mentioned last week, Updates will be released on Mondays instead of Fridays. In addition to that, several Tabs will be changed if not removed outright. The changes are listed below.

News Team
The News Team is still in need of more members to reduce the overall workload. If anyone is interested in joining the team, then one should submit a blog with well-written content and English usage. Any topic can be covered in the blog; if the blog is acceptable, you will be admitted into the News Team!
Promotions
- Underslime — Granted Internship for the second time on April 9th.
- Nobellion — Promoted to Admin for technical prowess.
- Colouratura — With perhaps the most impressive résumé this Wiki has ever received, it is not likely that our newest Intern will remain so for long!

- Robotguy39 — Resigned from Staff.

Rail Module Update
FANDOM announced last week that the rail modules (the modules on the righthand side of the page, like the Chat module) will be completely redone. This change will likely occur the coming Thursday, so watch for it. The new rail modules have been restyled so that they appear to be part of the page itself, making them less like modules and more like the inline style.
Because of these changes, the local Wiki Administration have removed the old CSS that styled the modules in preparation for this change, leaving them default. Now that the change has gone through, they can once again be restyled in a manner that will flow with our Wiki’s theme. It is considerably likely that our skilled administrators will pool their CSS knowledge in order to replicate the old Rail Modules we had before this change, so as to maintain the popularity the old ones had.
What do you think about the new rail modules? Are you glad that the Admins will try to restore them to their old glory, or do you think the Wiki should keep up with the times and accept the changes? Be sure to vote in the Opinion Polls Tab, & voice your thoughts in the comments directly. Your feedback may be taken by our Councilors directly to FANDOM Staff.
